Hi hannah & Matt - we shared your blog with Grandma last night. She said "whooo" when she heard you guys were smoking a hookah. She assumed it was dope, but Rachel assured her that it was tobacco - flavored like what she used while we were in Bolivia (shocking!) But we love the updates. It sounds exciting. love, Mom
Thanks for the blog and the frequent updates. It's so exciting to see a new post! I love the videos. I love the observations (such as the Mosques calling to prayer in near unison). Have there been any surprises so far?
Your mom sent me your blog, Matt -- I love reading about where you two are! I remember visiting many of those sites -- and I agree about Hagia Sophia (having to pick your jaw up off the floor...). I also remember that the columns inside seemed tilted -- is that right? Or is my memory going???
